Dr. Dring also performs Individual Educational Assessments for parents who need an educational assessment to inform their children’s schools about individualized academic needs of their child.  Dr. Dring works with parents and schools to develop an assessment protocol that produces valuable information which can be used to provide a responsive educational experience uniquely tailored for a child.

This may include an assessment of developmental issues, academic or learning disabilities, attention and focus issues, emotional, and cognitive concerns.  Dr. Dring does not do a cookie cutter evaluation, but uses a well-developed, research-based approach to assessment that will help parents and schools make meaningful educational plans for a child’s particular needs.  She uses a developmental and psychodynamic approach that will produce an in-depth picture and understanding of your child. Her legal background also enhances her ability to understand the interface of a child’s academic needs, rights and a school’s responsibilities.
